    I'm new here and I just love using Ubuntu on my computer. I am a student aspiring to become a network professional and I find Ubuntu just the right OS to use. So please I need your help to fully understand and be able to use it effectively ubuntu.

    Hallo and welcome. For your plans I think Ubuntu is really the best because Ubuntu is far the most used Linux-Distribution.
    I think it would be never the less good for you to keep in mind that there exist about 500 more Distros and everyone is special in one thing or the other. All of them are linuxes so even if they are quite different in the very core they are the same.
    When you keep this in mind you can use the knowledge of those and use it where it serves you. This is really freedom. This is really linux.
