A Semi-newbie
Well, I have used GNU/Linux before (Debian mainly), but have not stuck to it because I always find myself running into issues and I have been impatient with it. I consider myself to be a "power user" of Windows. I am a beginner in C/C++ programming, but have a lot more experience in Web technologies (PHP, ASP.NET, C#.NET, MySQL, MSSQL).
I have finally committed to sticking with it. I dedicated my older laptop to run Debian 5 and have it running smoothly for now. I will not be dropping Windows as my main OS since I develop a lot for Windows and it's what makes my money
. I know my way around Debian ok, and looking into developing for the GNU/Linux platform (C/C++ at the moment).
Looking forward to gaining knowledge from the experts here!
