Windows Explorer is used for so many things in MS Windows. Are you just looking for a graphical file manager, or are you wanting something more FTP-like? Does the default file manager for GNOME or KDE not do the job for you? What are your individual needs?

I might be confused... are you looking for Linux alternatives to Windows products, or for Windows alternatives to Windows products?

If it's the first, you can use clonezilla, g4l, dd, or even the acronis true image bootable live disk for imaging your system drives/partitions.

For a Windows Explorer alternative under Linux, check out Midnight Commander. Nautilus or Konqueror might also work for you.
