Why Linux is better than other OS :D

I have 3 computers at home.

If I install XP on all units:

3 XP CDs @ USD 100 / CD = USD 300.00

If I install Linux (which I did):

Blank CD @ USD 0.25
Internet Subscription 3 hours @ USD 0.25
Electricity @ USD 0.25
Misc Expenses @ USD 0.25

Total USD 1.00 for the three units. And I can use the CD to as much computers I can install it until it cannot be readable anymore

Now, pray tell.....why will I not choose Linux?
