1. No malware.
2. No spyware
3. No nightly Antivirus scans
4. No Fragmentation
5. No need for updating your Software individually. One click or command and whole system is updated.
6. No Registry!!

Back when I was new to computers, I always thought that the windows hating linux users where the non-conformists doing there own thing. I've begun to realize that my beliefs couldn't be father from the truth, most windows haters are actually big time conformists trying to fit in.

I know you are trying to be cool and fit in with the "cool kids" by bashing Windows, but it is really childish. I personally have nothing to prove, I'm secure enough to just use what I find best without thinking I have to conform to some imaginary ideal. So have fun blatantly showing your insecurity, I am going to go join the ones who have noting to prove and actually get something done.

Linux is better because than other operating systems because:

it runs better on equivalent hardware
I am more productive with it than other operating systems

but ultimately

because I like it better and it is a better fit with me psychologically and morally

Because it allows me to interact with my computer in a way that makes sense to me and feels more usable than any other OS.
