    Windows 7; pay pay pay

Ok, I just heard this about windows 7
if you install 7 and your running say 2GB of ram then 5 months down the line you want to whack another gig in - you will have to buy an upgrade code from microsoft to do this
    Is this for real?
Upgrade your ram and you've gotta pay microsoft for the privilege?

Never heard of that one before. Previous versions always allowed you to upgrade things like RAM without needing a new licence and I don't think thats changed with Win 7.
