    It's something we do here to keep things friendly. This way everyone gets to know a little bit about each other and people have the opportunity to say hi before asking any questions.

    People do it as it's the whole point of The Coffee Lounge: "General chat about anything that goes, a good place to introduce yourself and say hi, tell a Joke, or just relax."
