Did anyone else get caught off guard by it yet? I almost made an important call an hour ahead of schedule. Thankfully, my daughter was more alert than I was....

Nope, I would never miss an extra hour in bed :P

Also I make sure ntp is installed on all of my computers and my alarm clock is set by satellites so there isn't much chance to get confused

If your TZ is set correctly, your system(s) should automatically handle the change. NTP will keep the clock time base set correctly, but it doens't affect DST settings which are part of the timezone cruft.

As for wall clocks, we now use clocks with radio links to the NIST time base (WWV I think). At least here in the US it works... They keep updated in real time, and are DST-enabled.

I still consult my watch most of the time. The computer, phone, even the cable box were correct, I just don't pay attention to them. :P

I still dislike changing my clocks twice a year. It is annoying! I have to do it though or I'll be even more aggravated because I will be out of step with everyone else!!

I enjoyed it. I felt more rested this morning than I have in months. The wife and I were out most of yesterday and when we finally made it home it was much earlier than it felt.

Yeah. I woke up Sunday morning thinking "Gee, it must be late - it's bright daylight!". Then I looked at the clock and saw it was only 8:00 am...

It would please me greatly if they'd set the time where they want it, and then leave the clocks alone. That said, I changed mine late Saturday night so I was already with the program Sunday morning.
