    For me, it was asking the root password every time I wanted to connect wireless. Considering that was one computer that I was not the only user of, it was not acceptable. kInternet doesn't save WEP keys though, so I ended up playing with sudoers and writing a script to (re)connect to the network with a click of an icon.

    I admit that was a couple years ago, maybe it works like it should now, but I haven't had the incentive to find out.
