Forums like this have a lot of good info.
Pretty much every distro has their own forums as well. Some are better than others.
Many distros have official or community documentation, again, of varying quality. Ubuntu's is some of the best for new users. The Arch Linux Wiki and Gentoo's Wiki are excellent for more advanced issues. Obviously, a lot of that info is specific to those distros, but much is applicable to any distro.
The Ubuntu Pocket Guide is a good general introduction.
Overall, Ubuntu probably has the most info easily available for new folks. That info is also mostly applicable to Ubuntu derivatives like Linux Mint.

Try the Linux documentation Project.

Welcome to the forums!

I think that just about anything that can be found online can be found with Google and/or other search engines. Most people that come upon this website find it through one search engine or another. In fact, if it can't be found with Google, it might not be worth finding.oz
