    Which other Forums

Hi everyone, I was just wondering what other Forums you all might be a part of. I myself am part of several other forums on a regular basis.
Texas Fishing forum Texas Fishing Forum - Forums powered by UBB.threads™
United Parcel Service forum (not affiliated) Brown Cafe - UPS info for UPSers
Dallas Basketball Dallas Basketball - Dallas Mavericks Basketball News and Links
Of course I have the Gentoo forums, and several others that I am subscribed to but hardly ever post there.
I have noticed some very cool features on the Browncafe website. (Live Threads) They have some software that adds new posts to the thread you are currently reading so that you won't miss those posts added while you were typing your reply.
I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.
All new users please read this.** Forum FAQS. ** Adopt an unanswered post.

I have registrations on a great many forums, but this one is the only one I've really stuck with in recent years. I do have some unflattering threads about me on LinuxQuestions, though. Haha.

Well, there is Linux Mint, cause I'm a Mint user.
I'm reading on a regular basis the Ubuntu.nl forum. There are some smart guys that give very good advice, but: it's in Dutch only.
Furthermore I often visit the Forum of my local sportsclub and the Dutch National Petanque Association. That's because I'm an advisor of this organisation and member of the rules committee.
But in general I prefer eye to eye contacts.

Just searched you on there. You did ruffle a few feathers didn't you?

This is the forum I am mainly on; also on occasion

    linuxquestions.org
    devshed
    ubuntu forums

And I browse through a few others

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

I'm a member of lots of different forums, but don't usually visit any of them regularly except for this one and the official Arch forum.

I've got some fantastic threads about me on a few forums as well.

I feel as if I've left my mark, much like a dog or old Volkswagen.

As for forums, too many to name. I'm a forum junkie.
    Aloof linux user #whatever.

I tested off the charts for MENSA. Unfortunately, it was off the wrong end of the chart.

I visit Debian Forum regularly but it's a rather "bracing" place - lots of flame wars.

Murga Forum. Antix Forum. Mepis Forum. Harley Forum. EEEPC Forum. Linux Questions Forum (just read there mostly). Ubuntu Forum (just read there mostly).

Like to read the flame wars sometimes. For entertainment I like to go to #puppylinux chat and watch the trolls sometimes.

That's probably the main reason I tend to stay here. I don't find flame wars amusing (least of all when I'm the TOPIC of said wars), and LinuxForums has good mods that keep those kinds of things in check.

Some of the Debianoids consider flaming to be an aspect of free speech and therefore appropriate to free software. I have read frequent contemptuous references to forums (especially Ubuntu Forum) that are heavily moderated because "you can't say what you think there". Myself I prefer civility but I can see a certain logic to their position.
