MacPup Foxy on Asus EEEPC 900 full install on 4 gig internall SSD. Have 2.2 gig of spare room on drive with working Skype, Animated Desktop/Wallpaper, and a lot of bells and whistles for a Puppy Distribution. It flies on this netbook with Firefox 3.5.7 and Flash Videos and Hulu.

At my radio station, we have to receive and record a church service (encoded with Windows encoder) and begin playing the file back on air even before it has finished downloading. It's a cinch using VLC in Ubuntu.

I like to keep the start page of my website on the desktop of my computer to remind me of how inspired I was at the time to come up with it. I also like to keep in mind that a lot more needs to be done to make my Grandparents proud of it!!

Parted Magic for the Curious masses. The only thing I changed is the Desktop background.

I see you have Chromium running in Parted Magic Tbob. Did ya install Pmagic or just running Live? Looks good. My LightHouse Pup Install on Panasonic CF-48 Toughbook.

It's the default browser for Parted Magic and I'm it running from a 512MB flash drive while I chroot a fresh Gentoo install. Parted Magic has the smallest memory foot print, leaving me all the extra memory to compile Gentoo a bit faster.

    Nice Puppy screen shot!
What is that Icon Launcher at the top?

It is wbar which is stock in Lighthouse Pup. Has a edit wabar launch button also, Thanks for the compliment. Just search for Mean in Desktop Nexus for Wallpaper. I also have conky, gkrellim, and a bunch of other toys in this Puppy Distro. Firefox 3.6, Opera 10.10, Gimp 2.6, Thunderbird 3, Streamtuner, Skype. It is chock full of neat stuff. I didn't know Pmagic had chromium as default browser. My Pmagic CD must be a little dated. I will have to give it away and burn a new one. Thanks for the info Tbob.

    Persistent Live Antix 8,5 rc2

Did something New for me Today/ I downloaded the Latest AntiX 8.5 rc2 and made a live USB Pendrive. Then I downloaded the AntiX 8.5 rc2 Base Iso saved it in live USB. Then inserted a Kingston 4 gig SD Flash Card formatted as fat32. Then used the control Center>Drives to use the AntiX to USB Persistent installer to install the Base Iso to the Kingston Drive. Everything went successfully. I installed Synaptic, Shutter, Wicd, Claws-Mail, XFCE Desktop. All into the Persistent Kingston Live SD Card. This card boots up on my Asus EEE PC 900 and my Acer Aspire One. Using Ext 2 File system.

    Code:
    demo@mepis1:/aufs/home/demo$ df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
    tmpfs 10M 272K 9.8M 3% /dev
    tmpfs 499M 0 499M 0% /aufs/lib/init/rw
    tmpfs 10M 4.0K 10M 1% /dev/shm
    rootfs 16M 105K 16M 1% /
    /dev/sdb1 315M 273M 40M 88% /isosrc
    /dev/loop0 263M 263M 0 100% /cdrom
    /dev/loop1 253M 253M 0 100% /linux
    /ramdisk 798M 1.5M 796M 1% /ramdisk
    /dev/sdb2 3.4G 513M 2.8G 16% /persist-root
    /aufs 3.4G 513M 2.8G 16% /aufs
    demo@mepis1:/aufs/home/demo$
    Mt results so far below
Antix 8.5 rc2, Live USB Persistent,XFCE Pictures, Antix 8.5 rc2, Live USB Persistent,XFCE Images, Antix 8.5 rc2, Live USB Persistent,XFCE Photos, Antix 8.5 rc2, Live USB Persistent,XFCE Videos - User Media - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharin

This works like a Puppy Linux Persistent install to USB. The advantage is that you have more access to Debian Repositories and choices using AntiX. I like this.

AntiX has a mermber/developer/artist named Sakasa. All my Antix Wallpapers come from his site. He also does other distros.
