We're working on a new Debian manual for beginners
It started as a project by a Debian expert called oswaldkelso but there's a small group of us now. We are using google docs to work collaboratively. I've contributed a few small sections on specific topics and done some editing. It's good fun.

This for me is something I look forward to read and learn from!
I have visited quite a number of debian sites but I think most of it is outdated. I hope this new manual can help bring debian closer to the hearts even for beginners like me. And personally, I find the presentations of tutorials in some sites a bit hard to understand. But then again, thats a very personal observation.
