[FONT="Courier New"] I installled xubuntu 8 today on an old dell laptop, I did a regular dual boot install after partitioning the hd. everything is fine except when i boot into the xp side, windows wants to " check disk" runs some diagnostic thing...it can be over ridden by pressing any key, but I don't want this to freak out the owner of the computer...he said if he likes linux, he will give up the xp side, so im trying to get xp to boot normal again....xubuntu boots fine.
