It's interesting that the poll currently shows that the older the user, the more willing they are to vote. I'd think that's all it is because it would be very surprising to find that most of our members really are over 55.

That's a real surprise, I thought few people will be around 18-25 years , they surprised me.

I'm a bit surprised by how well spread out the age groups are for these forums. Certainly no group is winning by a landslide according to the current vote, and of course that could change by the time we reach the final vote count at the end of the year.
