Greetings from Dickster
Hi, I'm Dick Guertin, a 39+ year employee of Stanford University responsible for maintaining the SPIRES Database System. I've recently posted an article to the Forum about my experience migrating C-code from Solaris to Linux. I hope the article is approved so you all can benefit. I'm a Mac-person, which runs Darwin on Intel-based Macs, but I've also used PowerPC Macs, and have transportable code that runs on both.
