Been learning all I can but I'm such a noob I can't figure out my own terminal. And there's not much I really want to run over there anyhow. Trying like hell to figure out how to compile Jasper for webcam in Kopete as we speak. Pulling my hair out..

I don't run KDE. I have a aversion to it. Just Personal Preference is all. I don't run Kopete either. I run Cheese when I need a independent Webcam app.
Not into Video chat either (Big ugly Biker, scare people) but if I was I would probably use Pidgen for MSN chat and stuff.
Don't download cheese or pdgin from site if you decide to try em out. They should be available in you package manager under Administration. Install any app you wish to use from there.Linux Registered User # 475019
