    Says on that link... "As of 2010-01-03 0:00:00 GMT, this project is no longer under active development."

    That was pretty short lived...

    Yes i am a maintainer, and did it primarily for myself. Booting is similar to Riplinux without squashfs, only initramfs, which makes boot/install CD simpler. Unlike in CRUX the kernel is made possible to install as a package and you can use the distro right away after the installation. Some ideas are taken from Arch, like system config file, and separate kernel headers, some from Slackware, like integrating all HDD drivers & several filesystems into kernel. Some core packages are missing and also Xorg, but they are easily installable through ports (for example prt-get depinstal xorg).
