    I personally like Running Linux, published by O'Reilly, but be sure to get the latest edition should you decide to buy.

    This question has been asked many times before, so you can search this forum for other suggestions, and for some links to free online ebooks.

    For DNS I would point you to DNS and BIND, Fourth Edition by O'reilly.
    This is a very good book. I used these when starting out as a DNS Admin.
