    Always something You Like


    My son brought home a version of Linux called "Mint"...now I tried a variety of distros....and have a tendency to stick with whatever suits my needs....up to this point...Ubuntu or Xubuntu have been my flavor of choice....but I think I really like the feel, look and speed of Mint,,,,it is currently running from a bootable USB drive....how great is that.....it found all my drivers and runs flawlessly.....what a nice distro...I have a 1 gig desktop ...in my closet...I think ...I will give it a new OS

    Mint has a very good reputation as a newbie-friendly distro. It's based on Ubuntu as you've probably noticed.
