I'm on and off (mostly off - like right now) with my avatar, but it's an upper-case letter "O" with a lower-case letter "z" in the middle of it. I'll let anyone interested take a guess on how it might have come about.

I have no idea what your avatar is...

I don't know what yours is either, but your comments suggest to me that ozar is really an anagram for something.

I happen to know what ozar's avatar is (I think).
But I'm lost on what yours is, fguy64.

ok, here is a hint. My avatar is a semi-famous album cover from the '70s. Furthermore, the letters of the jpg file name form an anagram for the name of the album. The music is bizarre to say the least.

I'm a LONG TIME Captain Beefheart fan! As I recall, Frank Zappa was his producer, at least once upon a time. So, all I gotta say is that the postman's groovy, and lick my decals off, baby!
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
Just remember, Semper Gumbi - always be flexible!

Anyway, Gumby was as close to the idea of rubberman that I could think of. If anyone has a better gestalt for my handle, I'd love to see it!

We have a winner! Yeah Don van Vliet aka Captain Beefheart performed on a few Zappa albums.

For the uninitiated, the name of the Beefheart album in question is Trout Mask Replica.

I bet you'll never figure out mine!

But seriously, I was previously using a "Powered by Gentoo" image that I really liked, but since I'm now on Ubuntu, I figured I should find an Ubuntu one.

A bit more interesting, I usually this as my avatar:

Would anyone care to psychoanalyze me?

Ahhhh... I thought it was from the film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Do you think you can work out what mine is from?
