    How can we close the Windows 7 back door?

    Hi
    Was just wondering how we could close any Windows 7 back doors, and if there is anything else that we can do to stop Windows spying on us?

    Well, the simple answer, since you're on a Linux forum, is don't use Windows.

    I installed Windows 7 Ultimate and played around with it for about 4 days, then wiped it completely from the computer leaving me feeling pretty certain that it hasn't spied on me since. I now consider both, the back and front doors closed and nailed shut!

    As usual, TechieMoe, is quite correct, Ruthy! Although microsoft os are nice they should not be used on the Internet.

    Using an old Kerio Firewall I was able to shut down all of those phone home xp programs but doing so caused the os to shut down.

    I found google's browser acting the same way so I removed it!
