We all love messing with Linux, if we can convert a few people along the way then that's alright with me. You'll be a guru in no time.

me three... I've belonged to many computer bbs's for the last 20 some odd years, and this has been the best. I remember how intimidated I was the first time I ....GULP..." went into setup to change the boot order, to boot from disk" I had visions of the computer catching on fire, or a worm hole forming in my room and ending planet earth. lol . I understand when i see new users having some reservations about makeing the leap. I've come a long way since my first post in here. thanks to all of you.

I think that's what makes this such a nice place for newbies....we all know what it's like to mess with your system for the first time in a way that most computer users would never dream of and we make it okay to be afraid, intimidated and confused. I think people come here and see other people that are just as bewildered as they are and that makes it okay to be a little freaked out by the whole "Just install Linux" campaign. So in my opinion you new guys are just as important as some of the old timers around here.
