    Welcome to the forums!

Right, and it takes a while to learn greek and latin, so it might take a while to learn Linux, as well.

Either way, we hope you will enjoy Linux during the learning process...

The learning curve isn't nearly as steep as you might think and, in my opinion, the power curve is incredible. By the time you know Linux well, you'll have tripled your knowledge of computers and software. Linux rocks!

Welcome to the forums and to linux. Give a couple months and you'll have down the basics and then Windows will seem like Greek (or possibly just so tediously slow and bloated that you'll wonder why you used it for so long). The community is extremely helpful so never hesitate to ask anything at all
