For anyone that still hasn't seen season 4 of The IT Crowd, it just became available today through instant streaming on Netflix. They have it on DVD as well, but they say it's a "very long wait" for it.

Wonder if they'll be doing any more seasons/episodes?

Weird... it's in my instant viewing queue but when trying to play it all I get is a message saying that it's not available for instant streaming. Maybe it'll work tomorrow. Hope so, anyway.


2nd Edit: Unfortunately, instant viewing for season 4 still isn't working for me, even though it is in the instant viewing queue. If any of you should get it working, I'd be interesting in hearing about how you did it. Thank you.

Season 4 of The IT Crowd finally started working under instant streaming with Netflix. In my opinion, the first two episodes were rather poor, but the remaining four were pretty good.

Anyone heard whether or not they'll be doing a 5th season?


Edit: never mind the above question. I just saw on wikipedia where they have already commissioned a 5th and 6th season, or series, as they put it:

That's great they are making another series, I have only seen up to series 3 so I will have to aquire season 4. Friends of mine at work told me about this show, it's hilarious.

I didn't like the first episode originally, having never seen the godfather I didn't catch the references. Then a coworker explained it to me, and I re-watched it, and found it to be hilarious. The second episode I liked, but did feel it was a bit weak compared to the rest. I think I miss some of the humor since it's still a British focused show, and us Americans don't catch all the cultural references (I've never heard of countdown before.)

Overall I think season (series??) 4 was still good, but not as good as season 3 ... "IT'S NOT THE SAME!!!!! OH APRIL!!!!"
