I've been using Brinkster for several years and for the most part I've had no major issues with them. My only complaint is that although they offer hosting on both Windows and Linux servers, the really cool webpage tools they offer only ever work on the Windows platform. The customer service for the Linux hosts isn't as good. I do like that they handle registering and renewing my domain name for me, but a lot of places do that now.
If I had it to do over, I'd likely use a different company.Registered Linux user #270181

I'm completey happy with Hostgator. I've been with them a few years and never had a problem.

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

I second Hostgator!! Their " live chat " is just great and I've never had to wait long to bring up my stupid concerns or been treated with anything but respect.
On the other hand I still register my domains with Namesecure; but I would never use them to host a website because of their bad attitude!!Linux registered user # 414321

I have to say, Hostgator is who I would use if I didn't host my own. Their support is top notch, and their uptime is fabulous. Their packages are cheap, and you can pay monthly, quarterly, or yearly I think. They offer all kinds of extras in their packages, and you get your monies worth.
I think you can tell I was satisfied with them when I used them.
