    make a team (other distribution)

Hi all , i'm darklez , new on this forum .

if i want to post a message here , it's because i want to create a team to make a operating system .

my operating system is simple and think. The system have 2 kernel , one for the system , with normal use of kernel who can be compilated , the second uniquely for the GUI and can be compilated if you have make a new desktop .

a system very special and complete for the desktop , customisation , ideas and other . a system very great , can be simple but complicated if the user's want more and a system think .

If i post there , it's because i want to recruit somes peoples to first make the kernel and bootable system without GUi .

If people want to fallow me , there is no problems , but you must know kernel programation and others about to make a distribution without GUI .

thanks for all , contact me here if you want on this post or by MP of this forum .

    thanks darklez .

I would ask, what are your qualifiactions for this, and what is your understanding of Operating Systems, Microprocessors, Kernels, Compilation, Assembly, C and other languages?

I would recommend that you use the Linux kernel. if you are interested in that, I would like to help, because creating a new operating system (presumably with a new kernel is a little beyond my scope as of this time, and probably yours too. (You could surprise me.)

And besides, I think that someone might need experience first, so why not build experience with linux? I have been compiling non graphical linux installs that are made to fit in 5 mb of space.
I use uClibC, Busybox and the latest Linux kernel, and it works out nicely. its a base system and a start with all basic tools i need to rescue and manage on a small scale. There is a tool to put these three parts together, but I chose not to use it and to compile them myself.
I have booted it in Qemu and Virtualbox several times and used it once to recover valuable data in a pinch. I am interested in building my own operating system one day, just for proof of concept if anything.

If you really wanna, then lets talk!

I want to, so yes I will. I travel often, and am fairly new at programming. my strengths are in debian, the linux kernel and *nix administration. I do know the fundementals of gui design as well. I believe I have a msn/hotmail account posted on my profile for this site. I may receive an Email there at any time away from a machine as well as chat. Let's see wht we can do
