OK so im new to this site and im planning on getting Linux. My question is what one should i get? I heard that Linux is the hardest out of the 3 to hack Windows, Mac OS.
Anyway witch is the best Linux for a newb? I also plan on downloading it from the internet. I don't have a DVD burner. And i have 5 hard drives in my system and im going to reformat a 30 gig. And install it on that is there a way to install it while im on windows how would i go about doing this?

There really isn't a particular distribution that is best for all new users, but any of the top 5 distros in the page hit ranking list at DistroWatch.com should be a good place to start. If you find one that you don't like, try another.
