    I would like to introduce my self

    MrDaleR, owner of OldGeekVet.com, is a Vietnam Veteran serving 9 1/2 years in the Army as a communications specialist. He is a Computer Professional with 24 years experience graduating from a Community College.

    He has been a Network Administrator for large corporations involved with network redesign. Examples would include network topology changes from toke-ring to Ethernet, and updating a business campus to a fiber backbone.

    As a computer professional he has custom built more than 300 PC's with various configurations. He also is an expert in both Linux and Microsoft Window operating systems.

    Among the other experiences MrDaler is a database administrator implementing data warehouses' with experiences with proprietary databases such as Sybase and Progress, and open source databases such a MySQL and Postges SQL databases.

    MrDaleR believes in God first, Country second, and Family. He knows that without God there would not be this Great County that allows him to have the Freedom to worship God, the Liberty to work his profession, and the Pursuit of Happiness with his Family. He is a Christian, Patriot, and Redneck who clings to his guns and Bible.
