So I guess, in a place where there are no laws regarding this? There is no offense

Anyway, there are also some movies in youtube that have been chopped into several 9 minute parts? Would it also be illegal to watch these films? Or should it be safe to assume that since youtube did not remove them their okay to watch and download. After all, youtube is based on the US where there are very strict laws regarding this issue. Please correct me if i'm wrong here please

Really sorry guys to make you think so much , I'm just interested to know my parameters.

    Thank you!

Youtube will remove illegal content when they're advised that it's there. Just because it's available doesn't mean it's legal.

Youtube can't monitor every single upload due to the sheer volume involved. This is one of the reasons why the laws protect content providers when it comes to copyright violations. As long as they remove it upon notification, they can't be prosecuted.

This doesn't, however, alleviate the behavior on the part of the individual who uploaded the video, and Youtube (Google) is obligated to provide user details to the appropriate authorities when presented with official documentation requesting that information.

Why do you think it sucks? She was caught stealing. Therefore, she pays the penalty for doing so. Regardless of whether you agree with the RIAA and MPAA and their tactics or not, theft is still theft. If you get caught, expect to pay the penalty. It's that bloody simple.

    Hello retired1af,

I agree with you 100%. Stealing is wrong, period!

Sorry I was not clear when I originally posted it first. It sucks because I feel that there might be others who have done much worst but then they get away with it. Its like catching the small fishes and letting the big ones go away kinda thing.

Anyway, my question was answered and I got the clearer picture now.

    Thanks guys!
