Slogan ideas?
I was recently reading an article on mistakes Linux newbies make, one the seemed to some ways mirror the popular Linux != Windows article. Well agreed, the #1 problem was people going to Linux expecting a Windows clone. In this whole thing, I'm thinking, Mac runs on FreeBSD, they don't have the same problem... and I reason, it's the slogan, "Think Different." It immediately tells the prospective buyer that this is not going to be something they're already used to, and encourages them to open their mind a little. This applies just as much to Linux, but alas, we need something different.
There are already slogans for Linux, but none do the job I'm thinking about. We need a slogan aimed at Desktop Linux that immediately tells the new user that this is not like what they're used to, but encourages the user to derive possibilities of being better.
I'm thinking something like
Imagine a GNU way.
Somehow, I think we can do better though. Ideas, suggestions?

Hi D-cat,
How about:
"True Freedom"
"Step Up Your Game"
"Emerge a Winner"
"Endless Possibilities = Real Freedom"
"The Choice is Always Yours"
"Earn Your Wings, Fly High"

Thank you for your suggestions
These two maybe. I'm being kind of strict here. I'm imagining that I'm a fed up Windows user. I want you to not only tell me that Linux is better, but that I should leave my Windows based assumptions at the door. That part makes it a little more tricky, but I think it can be done."Endless Possibilities = Real Freedom"
"The Choice is Always Yours"

Some more

"Freedom? It'll cost you!"
"Freedom, at a cost!"
"What are you willing to give?"
"How far are you willing to go?"

And now for something completely different...
"I'm just a little old lady; don't try to dazzle me with jargon!"

I'm watching one of my favourite films - "Crazy People" so how about...
Linux: It's free but good!
or more seriously
Linux: Free as a bird.If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate! (Zapp Brannigan)
My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.
