    Hi everyone!

    Hi all,

Just moved over here from a popular fortnightly UK computer magazine's forum that is being plagued by trolls - and one in particular that the mods won't ban.

Have been using Linux for about 2 years but in the past 12 months have switched to Mint exclusively, while testing other distros. Used to run ArtistX 0.7 which was great.

I'm not too clever with Terminal commands so please excuse any 'basic' questions I may ask about them in the future!

I must say, i've been pretty impressed with Mint myself.

Cheers, I'm using Elyssa (Mint 5) because the later versions use a different kernel (I think it's the reason) which don't display the streaming webcams I help monitor for the Texas Border watch.

The only other distro which they work in is PCLOS 2010 Open Box. But I can't determine how to adjust the screen resolution in that distro. Oh well, Elyssa works OK.
