    I'm a PC...

well... hang on a second I'm a PC and I run Linux - where's *that* advert!

I assume this is MS trying to claim eminent domain is on the idea of what the term PC actually is...

Is there any protection to be had for the belaboured and abused phrase Personal
Computer after all it really doesn't mean windows (<-- dim advertising) architecture
yet most none technical people seem to think that is the case.

I'd be interested to know, do people think this cultural vandalism is a problem or just
    doesn't matter?

And I'm a PC and I run CPM

    PC jr no less

In my home I've got 2 PC's that run OSX, 3 that run Linux, 1 that can still run AmigaOS, but nothing that runs redmond. My computers are all like a good French Maid. They look sexy as hell, and they don't do Windows.

But on a serious note. Yes, MS is great at trying to absorb others trademarks and terminology. (In this case PC was/is a trademark of IBM) they even use penguins in their ads for 7.

So count me in. I'm a PC and I sure as hell won't do windows.
