Exclamation memory map issue in powerpc

    Hi all

Please help me in the following problem

I have an mpc8360e processor for our networking application. I have to use 1GB DRAM module but powerpc is not supporting that. It is supporting only 256MB. Powerpc has 8 BAT( block address translation) registers, each support maximum of 256MB, which can be allocated for maximum 8 peripherals.

So I could use only one BAT registers for my DRAM module( gives me 256MB) even when i tried to use 1GB DIMM module
Please help me to do the memory mapping with the above criteria

    Regards

You should probably move this thread to The Linux Kernel thread.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
