    Talking Google bans Windows!

After being hacked by the Chinese, Google is stopping its employees from using Windows on their desktops. They now have the choice of Macs or PCs running Linux. Of course Google always did use Linux on its servers but they have now decided that running an insecure OS on company desktops causes too much aggravation. You can read the full story here

Is it really 'security concerns' or is it just that they don't want to be using the operating system provided by their biggest competitor?

    The latter, of course.

Just another way of getting a public dig in against Microsoft.
Wonder if Balmer was throwing desks around the office when this story made the news?

Balmer was undoubtedly throwing his desk around the office, but he was very likely also throwing his Microsoft® Intellipoint® Mouse around as well as his Microsoft® Intellitype® keyboard too!

Poor Balmer.. You throw one chair... Just ONE chair....

All kidding aside, I've actually quite enjoyed using Microsoft's mice and keyboards. Their hardware is generally quite good quality. Same goes for the Xbox 360.

I find it hard to believe that a company that cannot even build a solid OS is actually creating/building hardware that works. I just wonder if Microsoft is really having a 3rd party develop and build the hardware and then tagging it with Microsoft's name?
