A new member, me.
Hi everybody,
I'm a new member of this forum. My name is Kévin GASPARD (laugh about my name is forbidden !), my nineteenth birthday approaches and I live in France, near to Paris.
I'm here to improve my English because I think it's the most important language in informatics, for being better in this domain. After all, it's my passion
. Some friend say I'm a geek.
I'm using GNU/Linux since approximately four years, I've beginning with Ubuntu Dapper Drake and since I've try a lot of distribution like Debian, Fedora, Mandriva, Slitaz, Zenwalk and now I use ArchLinux with KDE and Openbox.
I just want to speak with you, laugh and debate about anything and nothing and have good time here.
If you can't read my message because my English is too bad, said to me, I'm here for that !
Koshiarlly, Koshie.

Because Coffee Lounge posts don't count as helping posts. You will see some when you post in other sections of the forum. Happy Trails, RokPS : Why I see "0 posts" under my nickname ?Linux Registered User # 475019

I put Ubuntu 8.04 on my home desktop 2 years ago, when that other OS crashed and my install disk had a scratch on it. My home activities are mostly surfing, word processing, and light game playing. Hardy worked out of the box, mostly, and I never got under the hood and tinkered with it. When Lynx came out I upgraded and joined the forum.
Since then I have an old laptop I put Puppy linux on to use at work for light word processing. I've been around computers for almost 40 years, but other than a brief flirtation with Basic have never programmed. I guess you could say I'm a passive user.

In France you are a kind of user named "Madame Michu" or "Monsieur tout le monde".
