Our ISP are the friend of "Big Brother"...

For approximatly one years, my country (the France) want to stop completely the illegal downloading. So, to proceed on that way, they have been creating Hadopi law.

In the french forum, during lot of months we've all one word in the mouth, Hadopi.

It was a joke for us, because it's impossible to block completly the illegal download, it is silly to try to block copying a digital file.

And we've laught with the secretary of state of the culture, Christine Albanel (for example, she think OpenOffice.org is a... a... FIREWALL \ô/ ! I love this woman).

But now, Orange, a famous ISP and a MNO have to applicate the Hadopi law, for 2€ per month (~2,42$) you can install a software (~500 mb on the hard drive) who block a list of P2P software (like Emule I think) and it recording everything it happens in the computer in a crypted file.

So for people who paid for that, they can't download an .ISO of GNU/Linux (or other) with P2P (but... but... Mister Sarkozy, it's not illegal... Right ?!) or download on Jamendo your favorite music with P2P... But is not illegal ! And this software "protect" the computer, not the network... So if a cracker use your network for make something "bad" you're not protected by this software...

We live in a crazy world... Our leader know anything about Internet, computer... Please, kill me .

The only way to fix this is to throw the bums out and get some Internet-savvy politicians elected in their place. It's time to stop complaining and take back control of your government. Learn how to play hard-ball politics and show the voters what these pinheads are doing to them and their children.
