    Question command to get disk specification

    Dear all,

    I am searching for the commands to get the disk information, like no.of sectors,cylinders,RPM value, partitons and their details, volume groups, etc.

    anybody, please help me.

    You could get most if not all info with :
    Code:
    hwinfo
dmidecode
blockdev
    0 + 1 = 1 != 2 <> 3 != 4 ...
