Welcome to the forum Dwalin.

You should have good success with Redhat. They have migrated to Fedora Core for the non commercial version of Linux.

I don't do much gaming but I have found Linux to be a more flexible alternative than Win?. If you have a good internet connection, you can try any number of various distributions for nothing more than the cost of download time.
