    Training Dilemma

    Hi All

    I am a newbie. I want to get a certification. Certs for RHCT/RHCE and LPI1 are a lot of money, not near my location. Does anybody have any alternatives? Aslo I don't see too much of the CompTIA Linux+ being offered anymore. Did that go away?

    Comptia is still offering Linux certs.
    I had heard they were updating the test.

    CompTIA Linux+

    As for the difference between Comptia and RHCT/RHCE ?

    You will get more looks from job recruiters if you have the later.

    As for alternatives? Take a look around your local colleges and see if they have any Linux courses.
