    Sugestions for Netbook Distro?

I just ordered a netbook. Any suggestions for what distro to try on it? Since I'm running, and used to using, Ubuntu I suppose Ubuntu Netbook Edition would be the obvious choice. But I have a hankering to try something different for a change.

    Any suggestions? experiences...

I have literally just finished installing Zenwalk on my brand new e-machines netbook and it all works perfectly.

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

A search at distrowatch.com for netbook, brought up the following list of active distros:
aurora, ark, ccux, crunchbang, easypeasy, goblinx, igelle, jolicloud, mandriva, meego, mepis, moblin, netrunner, opengeu, openmamba, peppermint, puppy, runtu, sabayon, toutou, ubuntu, and ututo.

    Hope this helps.

    Slackware-based -- zenwalk
    Debian-based -- antiX
    Mandriva-derived -- PCLinuxOS-lxde-2010

I favor antiX-M8.5-i686. Good support, Debian repositories, quick and lean.

I do have a previous version Antix live CD that can with a magazine. Stuck it in my laptop and booted up. I must say it did seem pretty fast and low resource. Some things a little strange but I'm not really familier with it. I think I'm just going to have to download several and stick them on the USB and try them..
