    I need a Free easy to use program that edits movies which can run on Microsoft? Any ideas guys?

    The latest windows movie maker wasn't actually to bad, It can add/sutract scenes. Can add dialog and music. And it has built into it a convert to format your movie into 1080p HD TV, youtube, DVD, or mobile device. Plus it is free. The only issue is some video recording devices put it into a format that is cant read (gotta hate windows) but you can go to cnet.com and go to there download tab. Type in "free video converter" and you should be able to get something that can convert to WMA (best format for the movie maker as far as making it easy for it to read it).

    But if you are using Linux I would recommend Pitivia (I think that is how you spell it). Pretty decent for the basic video editing. Try to use Linux programs on a Linux system, the effort is to pull away from Micro$oft. Which with todays amount of resources for Linux there is no reason to use Windows.

    Actually I used to use these 2 programs back in my Windows days.
    They are simple editors but do a good job.
