    Installing Tax software upgrade

    Afew months back i installed a Tax software TSW Version 0.3.2. Recently the Tax Authority has upgraded the software and submissions from my version are not "uploadable".

    I visited the Tax Authority's site www(dot)kra(dot)go(dot)ke(fwd slash)portal(fwd slash)downloads(dot)html and downloaded the update and it is in a (dot)zip format.

    I will appreciate help by way of the command combination for installing the same

    Is it .zip or .tar.gz?

    I was under the impression that a .zip was Windows Based.

    I'm pretty new at Linux File Extensions as well, but a .deb installs itself once you execute it. (I use .deb in Mint Isadora which is installed with gdebi.)
