    hello every one

    hi, i am abrar. a mechanical engineer. currently doing masters in mechanical design. doing linux becoz my supervisor has instructed me to learn it as my thesis work is going to be programming based. i joined this forum to find a lot of help. hope i get it here.

    @MASONTX....thanks for the warm welcome...well if you have been studying lately, they dont give home work in Masters... besides i am a student of mechanical engineering and linux home work may be given to IT students......... i am here just to learn linux.
