    i use both KDE and GNOME. despite my username, i like both almost equally, but in different ways. KDE on Suse is great(for the most part)! i get the feeling that KDE on Suse being great has now reached a plateau where its going to go steadily downhill, despite novells claims that they are focusing on both. while GNOME is good, Fedora isn't...despite it having good support for java (this is good for me).

    Been playing around with a few different window managers and have a new favorite.... Joe's WM. One of the best minimalist WM out there. Been trying to compile it on Slackware with no luck, but use it under Debian all the time. It's got pretty much everything I require.

    I recently found one desktop manager not listed here - windowlab.
    I have to say it looks great - really minimalistic.
    I'm currently looking fot the fastest/minimal desktop for my old computer. Right now it has fluxbox, which is okay.

    I am using Fluxbox in DSL. I like KDE a lot better, but Fluxbox is the only thing light enough to run on that machine.

    I use openbox without any extras, because who needs tabs when you have 1600x1200 monitor resolution?

    $ df -h
    /dev/wd0a 36G 2.8G 32G 8% /

    Multiple slices for one operating system? No thanks.

    Woah. I didn't know that many people used KDE. I though FluxBox was popular.
    Anyway, I'm a full-fluxbox user.
