Early take on India's $35 tablet: 'Fairly impressive' | Crave - CNET
When first learned about 1500Rs or 35$ tablet - I didnt believe ,they will make it.but above video surprises me a lot. Though it subsidized (i'm not wrong its 750Rs) - It will surely reform educational industry.

I agree, it would be great for any nation with a large population at low income levels. By getting low cost computers out to students, hopefully they can become more competitive in the world labor market.

Yes,If this becomes a reality ,that would change a lot.Especially corrupt colleges and university which make high education fee/charges in the name of computer usage - will go away.
And social awareness and up-to-date informations and many more.

I've never traveled to India, so can only imagine what this computer could do for its people. I hope they get it past the drawing board stage and into production. Hopefully other nations will get involved in the idea and we will truly see one computer per child.
