Hi, I'm Steve from the state of Georgia in the US. I have been using Suse Linux for about 2 weeks and I have several problems. The main one is that I can't boot from a disk. I wanted to install another operating system, and when I go to help programs they are so technical I cant understand it. Can anyone help me?

Hi Steve. There are lots of us here willing and able to help, but we need some help from you first. What version of SuSE Linux are you using? What kind of computer do you have? What sort of disk are you trying to boot (harddrive, CDROM)?

Welcome to the forum. You might want to visit distrowatch.com and scroll down the right side to the top 100 distro's. Most of them can be downloaded as ISO's and run as live disks to try them out. Pick a few that sound good to you and play with them. Try some from each of the different major desktops, Gnome, KDE, LXDE, and XFCE, to see which one you like. Have fun.
