[SOLVED] windows question: accidently run repair installed system
Hi i m new to this forum. sterday i accidentally run repair installed system from live CD open suse. but i dont have opensuse on my system and have only windows XP pro.
now my windows shows bluescreen of death at start up and keeps on restarting, and unable to repair using recovery console. In recovery console it shows "setup cannot detect hard disk drives".
pls help me with this problem

Welcome to the forums!
If it were me, I'd try reinstalling the Windows bootloader and if that doesn't make things right, I'd reinstall Windows.oz

unable to reinstall windows.. i m having SAP software in it. Even the windows XP setup does not detect the hard disk installed with the XP

You might have to reformat the drive depending on what it is now formated to.

you probably need a driver disk if you are using SATA disk and old version of XP installer

the disk is in ntfs format only .... how to format without deleting the files in it...
