    Which version of Linux should I get? HELP!

    Hey guys, im buying a PC so I can just hook it up to the TV in my room and use it to browse internet and watch HD films (720p/1080p).

    So I decided to buy an Acer Aspire Revo R3610 Desktop PC

    My question is, considering im mainly going to be using the pc for movies/internet, what version of Linux should I get? Ubuntu?

    PS. I dont want anything complicated, something simple to use.

    Ubuntu is an excellent general-use distribution that's relatively easy to pick up. You could certainly do a lot worse.

    Or you might want to also check out Mint, and ubuntu derivative .
