I have 8AM classes 3-4 times a week, and I have to wake up at 6:30AM to make the drive there. It's a rough life for a 20 year old college student living with his mother

I used to compete with a friend in the dorm (at my prev. school) as to who could show up later for 8AM CalculusII. Prof. didn't count absenses against you (though you could replace your worst test with your attendance score - 100 at beginning of semester and -10 for each absense ), so it was no biggie. I'll never take a class that early again (esp. since I work full(ish) time now).

I just started studying at university (Computer Science) this very autumn. I thought I'd finally try and get some grades for some of the things I know.

I am a full-time software developer for a government agency. I do most of my work in Java with IBM Websphere (based on open-source Eclipse). I also do some work with a small startup on the side. The rest of my time is spent demoing/tweaking/playing with Linux distributions and posting my successes/failures/nuclear meltdowns on this forum.
